Work starts to transform pavilion at popular playing fields

New charge for request to uplift contaminated bins or bins not put out for collection

Each year the Council collects 6.4 million wheeled bins across South Ayrshire. Unfortunately, some residents forget to put their bins out on time, or place the wrong items in bins, which means we are unable to uplift them on the scheduled collection day. 10 September 2021.

An exciting new project is underway across south-west Scotland as Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere launches The Wool Gathering, a group to unite farmers and flock owners with the makers and creators who use the wool they produce. 9 September 2021.
